As soon the big, black portfolio noses its way through the classroom door, the children know they are in for a visual treat – it is Art Docent time! That excitement continues outside of the classroom through recognition around town or even the occasional hug for their docent. The kids love their Art Docents. Most importantly, the Art Docents provide a valuable educational service to the children of the Los Gatos Union School District. Aside from connecting with the children of Los Gatos, Art Docents benefit from the organization’s comprehensive training program, continuing education events and other special activities.
